Exploring New Income Sources: Sarawak Government’s Post Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030

The Sarawak government is looking for new ways to increase its revenue in line with the Post Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030. This includes utilizing hydrogen energy and carbon capture and storage technology as new income sources instead of relying on conventional sources like diesel. The implementation of PCDS 2030 also aims at technological development which will increase the income level in the state, allowing locals to receive higher pay. This was stated by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at a keynote address held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).

Revenue Generation Strategies

Businesses must have a strategy for generating revenue in order to remain competitive and successful. This typically involves identifying customer needs, creating products or services that meet those needs, and then pricing them appropriately.
